You´re better then the best
I´m lucky just to linger in your light Cooler then the flip side of my pillow that´s right Completely unaware Nothing can compare to where you send me Lets me know that it´s ok yeah it´s ok And the moments where my good times start to fade You make me smile like the sun Fall out of bed sing like bird Dizzy in my head spin like a record Crazy on a Sunday night You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild Ohh you make me smile Even when you´re gone Somehow you come along Just like a flower poking through the sidewalk crack and just like that You steal away the rain and just like that You make me smile like the sun Fall out of bed sing like bird Dizzy in my head spin like a record Crazy on a Sunday night You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild Ohh you make me smile Don´t know how I lived without you Cuz everytime that I get around you I see the best of me inside your eyes You make me smile You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild You make me smile like the sun Fall out of bed sing like bird Dizzy in my head spin like a record Crazy on a Sunday night You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild Ohh you make me smile Ohh HAHA you know what I just realised? Wei Shuang ma'am told me that our school got 1st and 2nd in the outdoor cooking competition. And I bet we got first because although our fire wasn't as tall as a pyre, it was wide and cookable (?). My brain's going haywire from lack of sleep. Anyways, I bet we got first. ... I want to upload all my stuffs on DA but Gen says she wants to go back and read it again and that means I can't upload all the poems with blood in them and they make up around 80% of my total collection. This sucks. But nevermind:) I shall be nice. And I shall strive to write non-morbid things. ... I'm hungry. And I think Iris should be banned from typing about her experiences after school, if you know what I mean. It's kind of nauseating. I would also like to explain why I simply cannot finish reading The Book Thief but could finish Blackbringer. The reason is simple. The Book Thief is boring, and everyone is dying. OK, that part was fun, and only the middle part was boring, but the middle part is kind of long. Especially since it's such a thick book. So I got through about half of the middle and felt like I really couldn't read anymore. Somehow when I see the blurb I still feel intrigued by it, and I still feel like I want to read it but past experiences prevent me from doing so. And it's not that Blackbringer doesn't have any faults, it does, but it's more interesting than wars. I just prefer big, black vacuums sucking up everything in it's path rather than world wars. The only part I didn't like was the end where she said they'd wait for him. For crying out loud, the kid is some kind of prince, which means he's spent his whole life being waited upon by others. What makes you think he needs to get pampered even more by making others wait for him to finish stitching up those wings? Gah. I totally regret buying Evermore. I know somewhere someone has ranted about this before but I was just looking at my shelf of books and had this urge to seize Evermore and fling it into the bin. But it'll be a waste of money. Ever is this bimbotic person running around and getting herself killed and later being reborn again. Damien is this stupid guy saving Ever, trying to get in her pants, going back to Drina(?), producing flowers, all at the same time. Did I mention that whenever Ever dies, he goes back to drinking and drugs and everything? I say, if there's one person in the whole book who deserves to be applauded, it'll be Drina. Because she's not the one who's so proud of herself for not sleeping with Damien, and she's not the one falling for all the stupid flowers, and she's the one trying to make the world a better place by ridding it of bimbos. Yeah. And she doesn't even appreciate music properly. The only reason why she listens to her iPod is because she wants to block out all the thoughts everyone has around her. Come on, if you have that kind of ability, you'd want to use it right? Not to block everything out. Seriously. On a happier note, I'd like to say that I enjoy reading Nicholas Sparks' 'The Last Song'. It's quite sad, actually. The girl's parents are divorced and she thinks it's her dad's fault when it's really her mum's. And she doesn't know it. So she keeps avoiding her father but when she has to go down to his place for the summer she really bonds with him. And turns out he has cancer, and that's when she finds out about her mum having the affair in the first place. All other characters, like Will and Galadriel(?), are just by-products. I don't care about them~ But it's an awesome book. You, whoever you are, should read it. The Magicians' Guild is coming out quite nicely too. So far Sonea sounds like a good person, i.e. she doesn't complain too much and she doesn't care about her appearance, except when she was on the run from all the magicians. And since about half of them are planning to kill her, I'd say she has a good sense of self-preservation. And I think that the Magicians are really close-minded. Because they have this sense that just because they're from the Houses they're better than the rest of the people, especially those who live in the slums. And they're appalled by the living conditions of the dwells, because, they've been living like royalty their whole life. Did they seriously expect the slums to be as good as their houses? Anyway they look down on Sonea so much because she was born in the slum. Hello, if they were born in the slums, they wouldn't be lazing around the whole day. I mean, the fact that they're even in the Guild is because they were born in that particular family. Just saying. I don't know why I'm ranting about books and their characters here, so. And I plan to give up on Neil Humphrey's last book and just hand it to J to read. It's really boring. I suppose that after I read the first book, my expectations became higher. During the second book, I was kind of disappointed, because it wasn't nearly as funny. I guess my expectations were too high for the third book and now it's kind of boring. But he actually addressed some of the problems in Singapore, like that fact that we don't appreciate the elderly as much as we are supposed to. I love Julia Quinn too. I forgot to mention her in the previous post. But her books are really sarcastic and funny. Granted they are sick, but normal people like me skip past the sick bits. Hopefully you're normal too. I can't wait for her next book, I hope it's about Sebastian and Marianne. Marianne reminds me of Penelope from (C), somehow. And guess what, I accidentally left my thumbdrive in my skirt and put it in the washing machine. I hope it's OK. And now I have an insanely long post. |
