❝AGAIN❞

I took a chance, I took a shot
And you might think I'm bulletproof, but I'm not
You took a swing, I took it hard
And down here from the ground I see who you are

I'm sick and tired of your attitude
I'm feeling like I don't know you
You tell me that you love me then you cut me down
And I need you like a heartbeat
But you know you got a mean streak
Makes me run for cover when you're around
And here's to you and your temper
Yes, I remember what you said last night
And I know that you see what you're doing to me
Tell me why..

You could write a book on how to ruin someone's perfect day
Well I get so confused and frustrated
Forget what I'm trying to say, oh

I'm sick and tired of your reasons
I got no one to believe in
You tell me that you want me, then push me around
And I need you like a heartbeat
But you know you got a mean streak
Makes me run for cover when you're around
Here's to you and your temper
Yes, I remember what you said last night
And I know that you see what you're doing to me
Tell me why..

Why..do you have to make me feel small
So you can feel whole inside
Why..do you have to put down my dreams
So you're the only thing on my mind

I'm sick and tired of your attitude
I'm feeling like I don't know you
You tell me that you want me then cut me down
I'm sick and tired of your reasons
I've got no one to believe in
You ask me for my love then you push me around
Here's to you and your temper
Yes, I remember what you said last night
And I know that you see what you're doing to me
Tell me why
Why, tell me why

I take a step back, let you go
I told you I'm not bulletproof
Now you know

I think I'm addicted to DA. It's actually the only place where people don't read my poems and say, 'Hey. This is bullshit.' Surprisingly, I got some favourites and 2 people watching me. Granted, one of them is Ali, but who cares. I would like to say that 'In My Mind' is a million times better than 'Death's Apprentice'. So I do not understand why everyone seems to be liking 'Death's Apprentice' instead. True, 'In My Mind' doesn't have such a great name, but the content is so much better. Huh.
Today Ali and I finished our D&T artifact! OK, I freely admit that she did most of the work. But I would like to say that most people wouldn't want to have a flying-and farting-penguin as a D&T project. And even if they did, I'm sure they wouldn't want the fart-cloud to be painted such an horrible shade of brown. And we covered it in cotton wool! The whole thing looks great except the mechanism is screwed. The one thing that matters, and we screwed it up. Which is good, anyway, so the teachers will definitely return it to us, instead of 'keeping it as an example'. Yay.
And I just realised that there are are really very little ma'ams that I can talk to without feeling scared of them. Which is slightly suspicious. Maybe my inner consciousness has picked up traces and is trying to tell me most of them are really horrible books from Mars! I doubt it, but really. One has got to have something to blame it all upon. Normally, it'll be Ming En, but since she doesn't know any ma'ams (I'm pretty sure) then I can't blame it on her. Sad, huh.
I'm so bored, and I don't have any inspiration right now. I wish I was sitting with J again. It isn't that I don't like Hui Min, it's just we don't really talk and it gets kind of awkward. And I get more inspiration with J during Geog. I don't know why, maybe it's just that I get to entice her by describing the wonderful Ikea Chicken which she doesn't eat. The stupid woman only eats the meatballs. Gah. She doesn't know what she's missing, and besides that, I can't describe the meatballs nearly as well. I give up after I get to 'The meaty meatballs with rich, buttery gravy splashed on it.' And if she hates the jam as much as I do, then, I have nothing to say. Except, maybe, 'Hey! We have something in common after all.'
Had fun ranting about the food for the Sec4s Farewell party to Ali. I could tell she was getting bored but hey, I would get bored to. And she didn't interrupt. Which is, well, good. And she told me to stop starving myself. I don't starve myself ok. The person she should be telling that to is Iris, or Bella, since the both of them rarely eat anything during recess.
I love Melody Carlson.
I love Shannon Hale too.
Nicholas Sparks sounds good, at least from the one book I read by him.
I remember I first saw Shannon Hale's 'The Goose Girl' in my school library when I was in P2. But the book was kind of thick, so I put it off. Until P4, when I had read virtually every book in that stupid library. And so I picked it up. After that I got so obsessed with that book I read it about 3 or 4 times every year. And I still love it. I read Enna Burning and River Secrets a short while later, and fell in love with those things too.
I first read Melody Carlson's books in, what, P5? It was 'Dark Blue: Colour Me Lonely'. It was wonderful even though I finished it in about 1 hours or so. And until now, I still obsessed with her books. I just finished 'Blade Silver: Colour Me Scarred' and her style of writing's still the same. I want all the True Colour series books but I can't find them, nor can I find her ebooks. Which really sucks. I want to read her books so bad!
I'm going to kill myself now.
