❝AGAIN❞

Thursday, August 20, 2009, 9:33 PM
I wake up every evening with a big smile on my face
And it never feels out of place
And you're still probably working at a 9 to 5 pace
I wonder how bad that tastes

When you see my face
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell
When you walk my way
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell

Now where's your picket fence, love?
And where's that shiny car?
And did it ever get you far?
You never seemed so tense, love
I've never seen you fall so hard
Do you know where you are?

And truth be told I miss you
And truth be told I'm lying

When you see my face
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell
When you walk my way
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell

If you find a man that's worth a damn and treats you well
Then he's a fool, you're just as well, hope it gives you hell
I hope it gives you hell

Tomorrow you'll be thinking to yourself
Yeah, where did it all go wrong?
But the list goes on and on

Truth be told I miss you
And truth be told I'm lying

When you see my face
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell
When you walk my way
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell

If you find a man that's worth a damn and treats you well
Then he's a fool, you're just as well, hope it gives you hell

Now you'll never see what you've done to me
You can take back your memories, they're no good to me
And here's all your lies, you can look me in the eyes
With the sad, sad look that you wear so well

When you see my face
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell
When you walk my way
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell

If you find a man that's worth a damn and treats you well
Then he's a fool, you're just as well, hope it gives you hell

When you see my face
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell
(Hope it gives you hell!)
When you walk my way
Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell
(Hope it gives you hell!)

When you hear this song and you sing along, well you'll never tell
And you're the fool, I'm just as well, hope it gives you hell
When you hear this song I hope that it will give you hell
You can sing along, I hope that it puts you through hell

I thought they sounded like sheep. Don't you think they sound like sheep? Of course I mean the ones in the white shirts. God Heavens, they're even dressed like sheep. How freaky. Hmn. The Boston Brass wasn't too bad, like a mixture of dog-cat-dolphin mixed together. I think that with more practice and a lot of luck, the sheep could probably get a decent tune going, sometime in the future. Well, good luck to them. Having J sit beside Eleanor, who was in front of me, was a treat. For once, I could do things to her without her hitting back. Haa.
Went to the Crime Prevention Centre today in Bukit Merah. Forgot to bring the stupid blue book, so sad :( Now I have to go back, and it's all J's fault. We [Sec2Guides] were yelling in the canteen first. Then when we gathered, we went to the basketball court where the court was used up, so we sat on the bleachers. Of course, being the a little too rah-rah batch of clowns [bad grammar, I know, but my brain is malfunctioning. What happens when Iris gets me to write an entire paragraph for her, and I finish with the girl running off to some unknown destination. Ah well.] we had to sit in order, i.e. in height. Then we went to the bus stop outside school where we took random photos while waiting for 132, and of course we had to yell at each other on the bus. OK, it wasn't really yelling, but, hell, it was loud. A valiant attempt at trying to settle on a Sec2Guide outing resulted in a discussion of chalets, barbeques, sleepovers, and tulip-toiletpaper. Typical. Oh yes. Also a wonderful session of jaywalking and trying to catch 132. Which left after seeing a bunch of screaming people ['come back!'] running towards it. Can't really blame the driver, really. Hilarious jaywalking too. Which was really most of us, upon seeing Gen and Joyce jaywalk, run after them screaming. Well, there was a car. Still. We improved, seeing as we didn't try to, you know, cross lane by lane. Thanks, Qing Yuan.
Today just reminded me of how much I love Sec2Guides and why.
